Der Talib @ EFW Office
Just look, don’t touch. We love him, but he can (and sometimes almost does) easily shred us apart. It’s a kind of a long distance relationship in one room, kinda… Yeah.

Christopher Hitchens Dies At 62

“Beware the irrational, however seductive. Shun the ‘transcendent’ and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself. Distrust compassion; prefer dignity for yourself and others. Don’t be afraid to be thought arrogant or selfish. Picture all experts as if they were mammals. Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence. Suspect your own motives, and all excuses. Do not live for others any more than you would expect others to live for you.”
“The only position that leaves me with no cognitive dissonance is atheism. It is not a creed. Death is certain, replacing both the siren-song of Paradise and the dread of Hell. Life on this earth, with all its mystery and beauty and pain, is then to be lived far more intensely: we stumble and get up, we are sad, confident, insecure, feel loneliness and joy and love. There is nothing more; but I want nothing more.”
Nuff said. Miss the Hitch already.

Massive Attack – Atlas Air: The Modern King Kong Is A Bunny
Here`s Massive Attack with an new video for a song off the Heligoland album. Storyline: the same Bunny we were afraid of in the Splitting The Atom-video (EFENTWELL!-Blog entry) turns out to be the good guy after all and is now thrashing the crap out of another beautiful gray digital landscape representing the media and consumption and of course, eventually gets snuffed by the big companies. The modern King Kong. Rather dull, when you look at it this way, but hey, just don`t. It`s beautiful as it is. Breathtaking animation by Edouard Salier and his team.
Killa bunny is a comin`, yeah.
